Humphreys to visit New Zealand

Former Wales skipper Jonathan Humphreys has received an invitation into the All Blacks' inner sanctum.

The Ospreys assistant coach will spend time running the rule over the world’s greatest rugby machine during this season’s Tri-Nations campaign.

Humphreys has been handed a caretaker coaching job with the Welsh region and will lead the star-studded Ospreys line-up until November.

He and Andrew Millward, the Bridgend forwards coach, are off to New Zealand next week.

The week-long trip has been organised by Andrew Hore, the Ospreys’ elite performance director, and will see the pair shadow former Wales and current All Blacks coaches, Graham Henry and Steve Hansen.
