Ospreys' defence begins at home

The Ospreys will begin their defence of the EDF Energy Cup against Harlequins at the Liberty Stadium.

The Welsh region, who became the first side from their country to lift the trophy when they beat Leicester in April, have been drawn in Pool C, which also features Worcester and London Irish.

Leicester kick off in Pool B with a trip to Bath, followed by matches against Cardiff Blues and Sale.

The cup competition, which features the 12 Guinness Premiership clubs and four Welsh region, begin on the weekend of October 4 next season.

Pool A will be contested by Premiership champions Wasps, Gloucester, Newcastle and Newport-Gwent Dragons, with Pool D featuring Saracens, Bristol, Northampton and Llanelli Scarlets.
