Incoming Munster coach Tony McGahan insists his side will relish the pressure of chasing the double next season.
Munster won the Heineken Cup last term under the guidance of Declan Kidney, who has since been appointed Ireland coach.
But McGahan, who takes over from Kidney tomorrow, has targeted Magners League and Heineken Cup glory ahead of the new campaign.
"There is going to be a lot of expectation from the supporters to repeat our European Cup triumph this year but we can turn that into a positive by accepting that expectations come with being a successful team,” McGahan told the Irish Daily Mirror.
"We would rather have those expectations than for people to dismiss our chances but we know it won't be easy.
"It's a fantastic challenge to be working with so many talented players and as a group we are going to work hard to win more trophies.”
