Ospreys have secured the future of prop Paul James on a new five-year deal.
The 26-year-old, capped once by Wales, has committed himself to the region until the end of the 2012/13 season.
"Hopefully I can build on what was a good season for me last year and force my way back into the national set-up over the next year," James said.
"That's a big goal for me and I'll be happy if I can add to the one cap."
James made his debut for Ospreys against Ulster in 2003 and has gone on to play on 98 occasions - captaining the side 16 times and scoring two tries.
“I'm very happy to have re-signed, as a Neath boy I'm proud to be representing my local region," he added.
"To be offered a five-year contract shows faith in my ability and the fact that I've happily signed such a long contract shows that I believe we are heading in the right direction.”
