Ireland captain Brian O'Driscoll will not return to action this weekend from the hamstring injury he sustained against Wales in the RBS 6 Nations defeat at Croke Park last month.
O’Driscoll, who was named in Leinster’s 26-man squad for the Celtic League clash against Munster, has been left out as a precaution for the match at the RDS on Saturday.
Ireland full-back Girvan Dempsey and flanker Keith Gleeson come into coach Michael Cheika’s starting line-up while hooker Bernard Jackman is set to make his 50th Leinster appearance.
Munster are missing openside flanker David Wallace (face) and prop Marcus Horan (back) but scrum-half Peter Stringer returns to the matchday XV.
Fly-half Ronan O’Gara leads the Munstermen for the top-of-the-table encounter with club captain Paul O’Connell named as a substitute.
