Wales captain Ryan Jones has praised the work ethic of the unsung heroes in helping his high profile club and country team-mates Shane Williams and Gavin Henson grab the limelight.
The pair, plus their skipper, are sweeping all before them after helping Wales to the RBS 6 Nations title and Ospreys to a place in the Anglo-Welsh Cup final.
For the second year running Leicester Tigers will be their opponents in the Twickenham final following Ospreys’ 30-3 demolition of Saracens at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday.
But Jones highlighted the contribution of others who allow the likes of Henson and RBS 6 Nations player of the championship Williams to take the plaudits.
He said: "Confidence is important, but you have to earn the right to be confident and we are starting to do the basics well and we are starting to take confidence from that.
"Some guys are putting some fantastic hard work in for the likes of Shane Williams and Gavin Henson to reap the rewards and they are unsung heroes."
